are a rear fanged snake
and are considered mildly
venomous. Although no deaths
have been reported by Mangrove

effect of a mangrove bite.

common in captivity due
to their beautiful appearance.
They are however a venomous
snake species and should

fairly aggressive snake
and are quite large (up
to 8 feet).

Eat?
a: Juvenile Mangrove
Snakes will feed on a small
pinky mouse about once per
week. Adults should be fed
an appropriately sized prey
item (large mouse or small
rat) about every two weeks.
